This project's goals were to provide more light (the ceiling was raised to
make room for more windows) and to carry on the fine craftsmanship evidenced
elsewhere on the main floor of this Montclair home. Red birch hardwood
floors, Corian counters, cherry wood cabinets and a distinctive tile
backsplash provided the necessary ingredients to achieve those goals.
