Move or improve was the initial dilemma that was resolved by an extensive remodel of this Mission style Berkeley home. Quieting traffic noise, adding a walk in closet and remodeling the bath of the master bedroom were "A" priorities along with creating a large family room off the kitchen and two special work spaces. One of those "work" spaces involved converting a basement, with its original coal bins, into a handsome office and billiards room.
