HARBORD DRIVE, OAKLAND This Upper Rockridge home had been purchased about a year before we began designing a new kitchen, laundry and home office. The client's realtor assured her that the home had appreciated in value sufficiently to pay for the "cook's" kitchen this client had dreamed about. We removed a bearing wall between the old kitchen and the old laundry to create a new kitchen that combined both spaces. The laundry was moved into an adjacent room that was remodeled to include a very pleasant, spacious home office that is bathed in natural light. Limestone slab counters, small butcher block island with prep sink, Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry, Sub Zero Refrigerator, G.E. Oven and white brick pattern tile countertop backsplash are several of the wonderful features of this beautiful kitchen.
