Many projects over several years have added extensively to this 1975 Berkeley modern home. The second project, an addition both under
and out from the home created an art gallery, home office, bath, and a two level slate floor leading to a slate deck and stairs down to an exquisite terraced garden of wild grasses and a gazebo. (First the master bath was remodeled to provide the comfort of a stall shower with a spa tub positioned to enjoy the S.F. Bay view and Mt. Tamalpais.) Lastly, the kitchen was remodeled with stainless steel countertops, a "diamond plate" aluminum backsplash, plain sliced maple cabinets and a 5" planked, diagonally laid, taupe stained maple floor.
