New kitchen seen from remodeled den
PALA AVENUE,
PIEDMONT

This Piedmont home was quite large but didn't have a master bath. This was remedied by incorporating the space within a closet to install a three fixture bath. Downstairs, on the main level, the kitchen was remodeled and expanded by incorporating a laundry room and another adjacent room. Also an adjacent exterior roughly finished sun room was finished to become a den off of the new kitchen. To open the space we had to support the second floor with columns when the wall on the first floor was removed. The location of the actual kitchen (sink and window) were in the same place as before they were remodeled.

The powder room off of the main entry hall had one salvageable feature, the glass block window. Otherwise the space was completely upgraded with marble tile floors, glazed walls and new plumbing and lighting fixtures. The master bedroom lacked a bathroom. We were able to utilize a bedroom closet and part of an adjacent hall closet to create a three fixture (toilet, pedestal lav and stall shower) master bath with marble tile floor and wallpaper. This new master bathroom delighted the clients tremendously.
