This project involved removing the wall separating the dining room from the kitchen
(including the necessary structural modifications) and sheetrocking the dining room ceiling to accommodate recessed lighting, insulation and to generally brighten the space. In addition, the beamed ceiling of the adjacent living room was also sheetrocked to accommodate insulation and recessed lighting.
The kitchen remodel included Brookhaven maple cabinets in a champagne finish, black granite counters, hardwood flooring, new appliances and plumbing fixtures, , backsplash tile, a desk area (not visible in the photo) and an electrically operated skylight.
